Last week in Review

I know I've been WAY behind in blogging my regular sessions. I still have things to share with you from last year, but I'm making an effort to try to stay caught up on my recent sessions again. These cuties were all in the studio last week:

Meet Zoey. She's always fun but makes me WORK to quickly capture those darling expressions. I first took her pictures when she turned ONE, and now she's a big two year old with a precious little sister!




And here is little Harper. I cannot believe she's already 3 months old! It seems like just yesterday I was doing her mom's maternity pictures and then her newborn pictures. Harper is one of those perfect doll babies. She is absolutely beautiful.

And here we have another two year old! This little boy was so precious. His grandmother bought him this kilt for his birthday while she was in Scotland. It was just precious!

And then we have the "S" siblings. Drew got this ball for Christmas from Santa. He was VERY proud of it.

And Miss Ella is growing into such a cutie! I couldn't resist posting the pout... It just had so much character!

My last session last week was the "P" family. We didn't get to finish their entire session because the weather didn't cooperate with our plans to go outdoors, but we did get the studio pictures take. They were a pleasure to work with!

What a great way to start off my year - with newborn twins! These precious ones were 13 days old...

Merry Christmas!

Just a note to let you know that the studio will be closed the week of Dec. 24th. If you still have pictures to pick up, your last chance will be this Saturday, Dec. 22 from 9-11. The studio will reopen January 2nd.

Holiday Baking is all the rage!

Holiday baking limited edition sessions are going strong! So many cuties!
One thing I love about my job is getting to know families and their kids - watching them grow is so fun! The pictures below are both of little Miller. Last year at this time I met Miller for the first time. Look how much he's grown since then!

Snapshots with Santa!

Snapshots with Santa was so much fun! In one week we had over 60 sessions with Santa and Mrs. Claus! It was so fun to see all the children and their reactions to Santa. Changes are coming!

I know I am so far behind in the blog - but it's because I'm so busy taking pictures of so many precious children and families it's unreal! I just want to thank all of you, my clients for being so patient and supportive of me this year. Through moving to the studio from my home, my unexpected surgery, and all the growth of the year - I have been truly blessed.

As with all good things, I'm experiencing a few growing pains, so I do have some changes in the work for 2008. My business is a blessing, but not as important as my family, so I'm trying to make some changes that will increase my time with them! My base session fee will remain the same, but the cost for weekend and evening sessions will be increasing. I am also discontinuing portrait parties, although I will continue to do my Limited Edition sessions throughout the year. Print prices will be increasing slightly but don't worry - they are still very reasonable!

Also, I am creating an e-list for those of you who don't check the blog often and would like to be informed of upcoming events at the studio. If you are interested in being on the newsletter list, please just send an email to info@lauraodomphotography.com and just ask to be placed on the list!

It's Boo Time!

There's just something about cute kids in costume! Come to the studio any time from 9 am to 2 pm on Wednesday, October 31st and have your little Boo's picture taken in costume. Cost is only $10 per family. Pictures will be available to purchase online within 5-7 business days. The background will simply be white - no props - as to focus on the cuteness of your child!
