Thank You! ACS Update

I just wanted to send a quick note of thanks to all of you who have been participating in our silent auctions benefiting the American Cancer Society.  So far, we are about 1/3 of the way through our auctions and we have raised over $1000!  It's not quite where I'd hoped to be by this point, but it's a good start, and I'm excited about our fundraising efforts.  Even though it's kind of taken over my photo blog, it's for a good cause.  We will continue to post daily auctions through the end of April, so please, come back frequently to check out our "goodies".  Also, please TELL  YOUR  FRIENDS about the auctions.  If you have a blog, a facebook account, a twitter account, whatever... I ask that you please take the time to spread the word at least once about our auctions (with a link to this page).  We have had some amazing items donated, but in order for them to raise money, we need people to bid on them!  Again, thank you all so much for your generosity.  Together we can make a difference!!

This auction is for a set of two chenille burp cloths (shown above).  Burp cloths measure approx. 19"x8". One side is a super soft absorbant white minky dot or pink striped Chenille. The other side is a cotton fabric. So your little one will be sassy and happy! Great for the little ones in your life.

Burp cloth will get softer with every wash. Perfect for any baby shower!  Works great as a changing pad in a pinch.

Awesome chalk cloth placemats (as shown in first picture above)! What is not to love about the variety of things you can do with this centerpiece/charger. 

Things look great in threes this would be wonderful lined up on a buffet table...one for wine, another for cheese, and the third for sweeties.  Or use these great placemats to keep your children occupied before dinner!

 You could put everyones name on them and use it as a place card. Give your guests a pack of multi colored chalk and watch out for the after dinner fun!

You are bidding on one of two t-shirts.  You choose which you want!  The first is a super sweet, cap sleeve t-shirt appliqued with a fuschia bird on a branch. Please note that the fuschia color is darker than in the photo. It's gorgeous!


The second is a super mod grass green t-shirt appliqued with a gold hen. My inspiration for this shirt was from the coolest tee in my closet designed by the very talented Miro Chun. (www.foldhere.wordpress.com).

The t-shirt is 100% cotton by American Apparel. The applique is cut from felt made out of 100% post consumer recycled plastic bottles. It is hand cut, fused on, and hand stitched by me.

Absolutely the cutest! Little pirate monkeys are hanging all about this adorable little jumper. You are bidding on a set of two "Eye Spy Bags".  The 7" X 7" bag is filled with 40 items that your child will spend lots of time finding, and the 5x5 bag is filled with 20! There are so many fun tiny treasures in these bags! All your child has to do is use their fingers to move the poly pellets to find all of the hidden trinkets. The small one is the perfect size for your purse so you can give it to your child as you wait for your dinner at you favorite restaurant or in that long line at the store! I've used them in the lines at Disney World. My kids love looking for all of the hidden treasures! The list is detachable so you can ask your child to find the items from the front seat of your car!
