Grand Opening!

Thanks to everyone who came out for my Studio Grand Opening! It was a lot of fun! Here are a few snapshots from the day:

My friend Sherri FINALLY brought in one of her adorable children to photograph. Ella wasn't quite sure she wanted to have her picture made... but by the end of the session, she could have gone another hour!

Sometimes I have moments...

...when I wish I didn't work alone so I could totally show off pictures to someone immediately! This was one of those sessions - going through the pictures I just kept thinking how CUTE this little boy is.

Ok.. corny I know. This is my first "official" Easter session... Mom wanted to get them done before the two front teeth came in! =)

This couple was so much fun. Mom-to-be was so pumped about having pictures made. Dad was a little less enthusiastic, but was a great sport! Congrats, you guys! Can't wait for you to see the rest. =)

Look at this precious cake! Several of you have asked me where to get the cakes for the traditional "First Birthday Cake" pictures so I've been on the lookout. There's a new bakery in town called "Out of the Box" located at 3518 Broadway between Highway 35 and Old Alvin road. Their smash cakes are only $14.95 & they can custom design them to be exactly as you want them! They can put a whipped icing on the cake that's not too sweet for babies.
